What I do

Three ways to grow your studio

Flat prices, and no retainer waiting at the end of any of them. Which one you want comes down to whether the thing holding you back is the site itself or the search setup underneath it. If you're not sure, tell me about your studio and I'll say which one I'd pick.

Not sure? The free audit on the home page will tell you, and it doesn't ask for your email.

Pick the one that fits

Full Build

The Full Bloom

You're opening, rebranding, or your site is beyond saving.

A new website and the entire local search setup underneath it, built from scratch. You see the full mockup first, and nothing goes live until you love it.

  • A brand new website, built for you
  • Mobile-first, booking-ready design
  • On-page SEO & keyword targeting
  • Schema markup & code injection
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Google Search Console setup
  • Directory listings & citation building

Site Upgrade

Most popular

The Refresh

You don't love your site, and it isn't bringing anyone in either.

I keep what's working on your current site and fix what isn't. You see the changes as a mockup first, then I do the local SEO underneath it properly.

  • Light redesign of your existing site
  • Mobile-first, booking-ready design
  • On-page SEO & keyword targeting
  • Schema markup & code injection
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Google Search Console setup
  • Directory listings & citation building

SEO Only

The SEO Tune-Up

The site's fine. Google just doesn't know you exist.

You already like your site, so I leave the design alone and fix the reason nobody nearby is finding it.

  • On-page SEO & keyword targeting
  • Schema markup & code injection
  • Title tags, meta descriptions & headings
  • Internal linking structure
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Google Search Console setup
  • Directory listings & citation building

Those are the whole prices. There's no setup fee, no hosting markup and nothing that turns into a monthly bill later. If your project needs something outside one of these, I'll quote it before I start it, not after.

What comes with every project

How I like these projects to go

You'll see everything before it goes live, and nothing gets built that you haven't signed off on. Then I keep measuring after launch, because watching the graphs get bigger is my favorite part of this job.

  1. Before you pay anything

A written review, and a price

Send me your site's address and I'll look at your whole web presence, write up what I find, and send it back with a proposal and a flat price on it. If it isn't the right time, no worries at all. I also measure every page for speed and technical health and pull your Search Console history, so there's a fixed before to hold the work against later.

    • Website review and proposal
    • Baseline report
    • Speed scores, every page
  2. Before I touch your live site

A full mockup you can walk through

First I'll ask a bit about you, your business and your clients, and for any photos you have and any sites you like the look of. Then I build a complete mockup of the new site, usually within a week of having everything, and you click through it like a visitor would. Tell me what to change. Don't hesitate to tell me you hate it. Nothing on your live site moves until you've signed off.

    • Complete design mockup
    • Your edits, before the build
    • Live site untouched until you approve
  3. When it goes live

Two guides, a report, and a week of tweaks

You get a walkthrough, the same measurements taken again beside the baseline, and two written guides. The care guide is how to run and edit the site yourself, so you don't always need me (though I'm always happy to help). The design guide is your palette, your type and where each color belongs, with the hex codes, so your Instagram, printed menu and signage can match the site without guessing. Then you've got a week to send me anything you'd like tweaked, at no charge.

    • Website care guide
    • Website design guide
    • Completion report, before and after
    • A week of tweaks after launch, at no charge
  4. Every month after that

    A report that keeps arriving

I keep pulling your Search Console data each month and send you a plain-English report: what people searched, where you turned up, what moved, and what I'm watching next. It's included with your build, there's no retainer, nothing auto-renews, and it carries on after the project is finished. If a report turns up something small worth fixing, I'll say what it would cost before I touch it. That's a one-off, not a retainer, and you can always say no.

    • Monthly performance report
    • Priority searches, scored
    • Included, not a subscription

Not a promise for later: every studio I've delivered is on the monthly report already, and Sculpt by Rind has 17 months of month-by-month Search Console history behind it.

About all those AI emails

The AI part is already in the price

You're probably getting emails about this. Some of it's real: assistants answer by fetching pages and reading them, so they can only name a studio whose site plainly says what it does and where. That's the same work that gets you found on Google, which is why it's in all three packages above rather than sold separately.

  • Schema markup

The code that states you're a studio, at this address, with these hours and these treatments, in a form a machine reads directly instead of guessing at. It's in every package, including the $350 one.

  • Reachable pages

An assistant can't name a page it can't fetch. That means checking your robots.txt file and any block-AI-crawlers setting your platform has.

  • Details that match

Your name, address and phone saying the same thing on every page, so nothing has to work out which listing is really you. Matching them across the directories too is part of the two larger packages.

There's no separate line item for any of it and no retainer attached to it. The free audit will tell you right now whether the crawlers can reach you, and if you want the longer version I've written up what actually decides whether an assistant recommends you and how to tell a real service from a rebranded one. All three are free and none of them asks for your email.

How the work goes

Five steps, and the fourth is the one that matters

Steps one to three are what you'd expect from anyone building a site. The fourth is the one that decides whether you turn up in local search, and it's mostly careful setup rather than anything clever.

  • 01

I Learn the Business Before I Open a Design Tool

Before I open a design tool I'd like to know a bit about you, your business and your clients. Which treatment actually pays the rent, and who's walking in on a Tuesday. Without that I'm just decorating.

  • 02

I Find the Searches That End in a Booking

Not the ones with the biggest numbers. “facials” is a research search; “facials near me open sunday” is someone with their card out. I build for the second kind.

  • 03

    Everything Points at One Button

Most studio sites make a ready-to-book visitor take four or five taps to get there. Every one of those loses people who'd already decided. So I count the taps and get rid of every one I can.

  • 04

The Boring Half Most People Skip

Structured data, a claimed Google Business Profile, your address written the same way everywhere it shows up. Tedious, and most of what decides local ranking. It's also usually where I find the biggest gaps.

  • 05

    You Own All of It

Your account, your domain, your content, plus written guides for running it yourself. Nothing stops working if we part ways, and there's nothing to cancel. If you ever want to take it elsewhere, you can, without asking me for anything.

Before you ask

The questions I always get

If yours isn't here, just ask. I'd rather answer it now than have you wondering.

Do you only work with studios in San Diego?

No. Most of my clients are San Diego studios, which is where the work started, but all of it is remote and local search doesn't behave differently in Sarasota than it does in North Park. The genuinely local part is knowing the ground: which neighborhoods people actually search by, who you're really up against, what a treatment goes for in your market. So for a city I don't know, learning it is the first thing I do, not something I skip.

It's just me, and I'm brand new. Am I too small for this?

You're who I built this for. A new esthetician with one room is the person most likely to be told to wait until she's bigger, or to be signed onto a monthly retainer that eats the profit before there's any. Neither is good advice. You need the fundamentals done properly once, and then to be left alone to run your business. That's exactly what I sell.

How long does a project take?

Two to four weeks for most builds, and the biggest variable is how fast photos and copy come back to me. The mockup is usually ready about a week after I have everything, and the SEO Tune-Up is about a week start to finish. I only take a couple of projects at a time, so you're never waiting behind a queue.

Do I own the website afterwards?

Completely. Your account, your domain, your content. There's no retainer, no license, and nothing stops working if we part ways. If you ever want to move on, or hand it to somebody else, everything is already in your name and the care guide says where all of it lives. You shouldn't have to ask permission to leave.

What happens after you hand it over?

You get a walkthrough, a completion report and two written guides. The care guide covers running and editing the site yourself, so you don't always need me for changes (though I'm always happy to help). The design guide is your palette and type, with hex codes and where each color belongs, so your Instagram, printed menus and signage can match the site without anyone guessing. You also get a week after launch to send me anything you'd like tweaked, at no charge, and then a performance report from me each month showing what people searched and where you turned up.

Is the monthly report really included, or is it a subscription in disguise?

It's included, and nothing auto-renews. I pull your Google Search Console data at the start of each month and write up what actually happened: the searches you appeared for, where you ranked, what moved, and what I'm watching next. I built the tooling once and it runs across every client, so it costs me very little to keep sending. There's no retainer and no card on file, and you aren't signing up for anything to receive it. If a report turns up something small worth fixing, I'll say what it would cost before I touch it, and you can always say no.

Can you work with my existing booking system?

Yes. Squarespace accepts most booking widgets, and where a system doesn't offer one I can embed or link it directly instead. The Rejuv Room's site runs Boulevard as a slide-in overlay, for example, so booking never bounces anyone to another page. The goal is always fewer taps between landing on your site and having an appointment booked.

Do you only build on Squarespace?

Squarespace is what most of my clients are on and what I know best, and it's the right call if you want to edit the site yourself afterwards. If you'd rather have the fastest site possible and you don't plan to touch it, I can build it custom and host it on Cloudflare instead, which is how this site is built. The trade is that edits go through me, and I charge for the time they take. Either way it's in your name, and you can hand it to somebody else whenever you like.

How soon will I see results in Google?

Technical fixes register within days. Real ranking movement usually takes six to twelve weeks, and local competition affects that. Anyone promising page one in two weeks is either guessing or lying. You'll have your own Search Console login from day one, so you can watch it happen yourself rather than take my word for it.

Why is this so much cheaper than an agency?

Because it's me, and the price only has to cover the work. There's no office, no account manager, no sales team, and no monthly retainer quietly funding all of that. I also built the reporting and audit tooling once and it runs across every client at the same time, so the parts that usually get billed by the hour cost me very little to repeat. That's what lets me do this properly at a price a one-room studio can say yes to.

Beep me

Tell me a bit about your studio and what you'd like to fix. I read every message myself and I'll usually get back to you within a day. No pressure, and if I don't think you need me, I'll say so.
