A great studio ready to be found

Kim had built a facial sculpting practice people loved once they found it. The finding was the problem. There was no SEO infrastructure behind the site, no schema for Google to read, and no analytics telling her which of her services people were actually searching for.

Search Console data on this property goes back to March 2025, which means there are nine clean months before the work and seven clean months after it. That’s rare, and it’s why this is the most defensible story in the portfolio.

The work

On-site

Restructured the pages around the treatments people search for by name, rewrote titles and meta descriptions against real query data, and added schema markup so Google could parse the business properly.

External

Claimed and optimised the Google Business Profile, then built out directory listings and citations so the name, address and phone matched everywhere they appeared.

Analytics

Search Console and analytics wired up, so every change after this one could be measured rather than guessed at.

The results

Comparing the six months after delivery against the six months before, which cancels out seasonality and single-month noise:

  • Impressions 12,161 → 52,386, up 331%
  • Clicks 943 → 1,736, up 84%

Year over year, July 2025 against July 2026, average position improved from 41.4 to 19.0. Impressions were up 437% and clicks up 101% on that comparison.

Month Impressions Clicks Avg position
Jul 2025 2,434 158 41.4
Dec 2025, last month before 3,312 237 19.3
Mar 2026 7,180 243 20.3
Jun 2026 10,761 332 18.2
Jul 2026 13,075 318 19.0

Sixteen full months of month-by-month Search Console data sit behind this, which makes it the most thoroughly evidenced result in the portfolio.

Next on the list: “facials san diego”, currently at position 16 on 318 impressions a month. That one’s within reach.

There's a version of this for your studio.

Every project starts the same way. I look at what Google can actually see of your business, then tell you what I would do about it before you commit to anything.
